Sao Mai Centre for the Blind, Vietnam wins Zero Project Award 2021
It is a proud moment for ICEVI’s Higher Education Project and the ON-NET Program that our partner Sao Mai Centre for the Blind in Vietnam has been selected for the Zero Project Award for 2021. The Centre, through the visionary leadership of Mr. Dang Hai Phuc, has done many innovations in technology, employment, etc. According to Mr. Phuc, “This could be Sao Mai’s most important international award, which has recognized our contributions to visually impaired people in the field of information technology for over the past 20 years. With sincere thanks to all former and current brothers + sisters at Sao Mai, collaborators, volunteers, sponsors and especially to the visually impaired people around the globe. Special thanks to Larry (former President,, ICEVI), Dr. Mani (CEO, ICEVI) and Wen who have been guiding, consulting and supporting us for many years! In addition, without fund support from The Nippon Foundation through ICEVI and Overbrook School for the Blind, we hardly imagined to achieve such results today” Thanks to each and every one at ICEVI and Sa0 Mai Centre for the Blind for this great achievement.
