Presentation in West Regional CSO Meeting and Media Engagement
The Blind People’s Association organized this event “West Regional CSO Meeting and Media Engagement” with the support of Sense International India and Commonwealth Foundation to sensitize members of Civil Service Organization and media personnel as regard roles and responsibilities of CSO in promoting services for persons with deafblindness. fblindness in Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The event was conducted Mr Krupa Velani, Chief Coordinator of BPA; and guided by Mr Akhil Paul, Director, Sense India. The ICEVI Champion, Ms Shrutilata Singh, now Advocacy Officer of Sense India spoke on “Need for CSO Engagement”. Ms Vimal Thawani, Secretary of ICEVI India spoke on Covid and its Impact on Persons with Deafblindness”. Truly a well organized event indeed!!
