NAB India organizes National Webinar Meet
National Association for the Blind (India), leading national organization working for persons with visual impairment in India which has always been collaborating with ICEVI West Asia organized National Webinar Meet during 16th, 17th and 18th May, 2020 to discuss “What are the problems faced by Visually Challenged People during Covid and how to overcome the same”. Bhushan Punani represented ICEVI in this meet and shared his views as regarding relief support to persons with visual impairment who have lost their complete earnings due to lock down due to Covid-19. The eminent speakers in this webinar meet included Ms. Kalpana Kharade, Associate & Adjunct Professor, Saomaya Vidyavihar University; Ms Nikita Vaid (Raut), Assistant General Manager, Bank of Baroda and Mr Gopal Krishna Agarwal, Vice President, NAB (I), Mr. Vimal Dengla, Secretary, NAB (I): Ms Pallavi Kadam, Executive Director, NAB (I); Mr. Robinson Nocholas, HOD, NAB (I); and Ms Nutan Desai, Assistant Manager, NAB (I). The meet was moderated by Mr. Vimal Dengla. Every day more than 200 participants from across India participated in this initiative. Congratulations NAB (India) for this great initiative.
